So, when I was 10, I got a 110mm camera for my birthday that I used so much I broke the shutter release. When I was 14 I took a disposable 35mm to Washington DC with me and took a picture of the Washington Monument. I was told by both my mother and my art teacher that it was post card material. Although, I have gotten significantly better, I feel like there is always room for improvement. I've been in love with taking pictures ever since. There is actually very little that I love more in this world aside from my daughter 'Kenzie and my fiance Jay, being with my family and friends, and being outside. I don't want to clog up this blog with a lot of pictures that I took before a month or so ago, but, I do want to share a couple. After this post, I'm going to just be putting up fresh shoots. Here are some of my favorites from June, July, and the beginning of this month.
I'm not really sure what I'm doing, but I'm always giving it my best shot. I'm a freelance photographer, who hasn't had a paying job in over a year, due to my being busy with photography school, working full time, and being a Mommy to my favorite little person. She calls me 'Jeksa' when people ask her what my name is. I hope you enjoy.

The first step is the begning of the rest...
Obviously. Sometimes I type this stuff out and I really feel like it's just obvious. I've been toying with this idea of blogging and sharing my pictures and my random photo shoots. I'm hoping that by showing the world, I might get feedback about how I can improve or how I am doing good. <3<3<3
